Episode 99: Surviving the Back-to-School Scaries
Back to school season is among us and when I asked my daughter what today's episode should focus on, she said to talk about the Back to School scaries because if she was a teacher, that’s what she would be feeling right now, and I thought that would be a great topic because I’m sure the majority of us are feeling somewhat overwhelmed by this upcoming school year.
It's more than just having to get up earlier and clean up every day...for some teachers, it's a highly stressful time
Starting a school year can be highly stressful, whether you are starting your first year as a special education teacher, moving to a new district or even starting a new position within the same district...there are so many unknowns and SOOO much to get done.
So I thought today, I could provide support to those of you who aren’t pumped about going back to school because of the extreme amount of work that’s ahead of you and hopefully give you a little boost to help your year start off smoothly.
Listen to this episode to learn the 3 quick things you can do immediately to take some of the stress off your plate and hopefully have a great year!
